How it works:
A laser is an intense beam of light. Using an instrument that allows it to be precisely

controlled, the laser beam replaces the traditional scalpel. Laser energy instantly vaporizes the water found in tissues, allowing it to “cut” or essentially remove an extremely small area of tissue. The energy seals nerve endings and blood vessels as it moves through the tissue, resulting in less bleeding, less pain and virtually no trauma to surrounding tissue.
Procedures:
Some of our recommended procedures for laser surgery are:
Feline Declaw – Cats that declawed using laser experience significantly reduces pain and swelling over the older, previous method. Laser declaw will soon become the only standard and accepted technique offering a humane and painless alternative to this otherwise painful surgery. In some states it is now the only approved option.
Canine and Feline Spay and Neuter – Routine surgeries such as spay’s and neuter’s can be less stressful and uncomfortable for our patients with the use of the laser. Even though we still use our pain management program, our patients are more pain free and comfortable following their surgery.
