– 2 cups whole wheat flour
– 1 1/2 teaspoons baking powder
– 1/3 cup smooth peanut butter
– 1 cup skim milk or 1 cup of hot water
– 1 egg (optional)
Preheat the oven to 375 degrees, and line a cookie sheet with tinfoil or parchment paper. Then in a large bowl combine the whole wheat flout and the baking powder. Then add milk, or hot water, and the peanut butter. (If the dough is too dry, add a little more milk or water. If it is too wet add an additional tablespoon of flour)
Place dough on counter and roll out with rolling pin. Then use dog bone cookie cutter to cut the dough into dog biscuits. Place the cut out dog bones onto cookie sheet with space between them.
Bake the bones for twenty minutes at 375 degrees. The bones should be light brown when done.
We hope your dogs love these delicious treats!
